Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, or using the Lumina browser ("the Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Software.

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Lumina ("we", "us", "our") regarding your use of the Software.

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use Lumina on devices you own or control, for your personal or internal business use.

You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the Software without our written permission
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software
• Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels on the Software
• Use the Software to build a competing product or service
• Sublicense, sell, rent, or lease the Software to third parties

Lumina is currently free to download and use. We reserve the right to introduce optional paid features in the future. Any paid features will be clearly marked and opt-in. Core browser functionality will remain free.

Lumina may automatically download and install updates to ensure you have the latest security patches and features. You can disable automatic updates in Settings, though we recommend keeping them enabled for security reasons.

You agree not to use Lumina to:

• Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation
• Transmit any unsolicited or unauthorised advertising or promotional material
• Knowingly transmit data containing viruses, trojans, or other malicious code
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any computer systems or networks
• Engage in any conduct that restricts or inhibits anyone's use or enjoyment of the Software

The Lumina name, logo, and all related marks are trademarks of Lumina. Nothing in these Terms grants you the right to use any of our trademarks, logos, or trade names without prior written permission.

All software, design, and content associated with Lumina is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

The Software is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Software will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Lumina shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Software.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Software shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim (which may be zero for free use).

We may suspend or terminate your right to use the Software at any time if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, the licence granted to you will immediately cease, and you must uninstall the Software.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the applicable jurisdiction.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes via an in-app notification and by updating the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Software after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
